The boar fountain, commonly referred to as the "puking pig", is located in Lyndon Center - not far off from Lyndon Institute. This fountain is one of the only four located in the United States.
The boar is one of many town symbols. This causes it to be a target of vandalism. Whether it be by local pranksters or by rival St Johnsbury residents during the football season - the fountain has seen many years of abuse.
